Cancellations and changes are easy to make by emailing us at info@theskysquad.com or calling us at 877 FLY-CALM. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the booking to receive a refund. Changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the booking or an additional fee will be applied. Refunds will be made in the event of a flight cancellation or should a SkySquad assistant not be available during an early arrival or flight delay situation.

How long can a SkySquad assistant help?

Service booked through our website includes up to two hours of service.

Do you have wheelchairs?

No, we do not provide wheelchairs. Please contact your airline directly to book a wheelchair.

What do SkySquad assistants do?
SkySquad assistants are the extra set of hands that you have always wished you had at the airport! We can greet you at the airport entrance, and assist you all the way to the gate. We can help you with ticketing, checking bags, loading items onto the security belt, keeping an eye on travel items when you go to the restroom, and providing general assistance during your time at the airport. We also help to skip the lines at security!

Do you help with international arrivals?
No. SkySquad assistants are not authorized by the airport to enter into the customs and immigration area.

Who are the SkySquad Assistants?
SkySquad assistants are fully vetted and background checked by the airport. Our staff are chosen for their caring nature and interest in providing a helping hand to travelers ranging from babies to age 100 plus!

What kind of affiliation does SkySquad have with the airports?
SkySquad is fully permitted to do work at each airport where it operates.

Does SkySquad help senior citizens who need an extra hand?
Absolutely! We are here to help you from the time you walk in the door to the airport all the way to your gate. We can provide assistance checking in, checking your bags, carrying luggage/bags through the airport, and loading items on to the security belt. We can also help travelers navigate their way to the gate, and assist them in finding their appropriate gate. Once at the gate, we can assist in purchasing snacks or items needed for the fight.

Does SkySquad help with translation?
Yes! If you need help with translation at the airport, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Does SkySquad help Unaccompanied Minors who need an extra hand?
No, we do not assist children under 18 years old that are traveling alone. We recommend contacting your airline for assistance.

Where do I meet my SkySquad assistant?
Generally, our SkySquad assistants meet customers at their car door for a departure, and at their gate for an arrival. Customers will be connected via text message to their personal SkySquad assistant one day before they travel. For departures, assistants text customers 15 minutes before their meeting time to ask what type of vehicle they are arriving in to ensure that they are greeted at their car door. We recommend meeting in front of the door closest to the appropriate airline ticket counter. SkySquad assistants will let their customer know which door is closest to their airline ticket counter.

Can SkySquad assistants take my child to the bathroom?
No. While SkySquad assistants are there to assist you during your time at the airport, there are several activities that are prohibited for SkySquad assistants. The following activities are prohibited:

  • SkySquad assistants may not take your children to the restroom

  • SkySquad assistants may not change your children’s diapers.

  • SkySquad assistants may not administer medicine to your child.

Can SkySquad assistants help carry my bulky carseat through the airport?
YES! We know this is part the process. Carrying bulky baby/toddler gear is our specialty. Let us give you an extra hand with that.

How will I recognize my SkySquad assistant?
Your SkySquad assistant will be wearing a shirt with the SkySquad logo on it. You won’t be able to miss us!

I would like to tip my SkySquad assistant, is this ok?
Tipping is not necessary, but our assistants work very hard and if you want to tip them, then feel free!

How do I pay for this service?
Payment is taken at time of booking via our website or call center.

How do I give feedback?

How do the SkySquad assistants get through security?
All of the SkySquad assistants are badged by the airport to go through security.

Is this service safe?
Yes, the service is safe. Our staff are all badged by the airport after a background check and fingerprinting.
